Terms of Service

Welcome to RoleHelix. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the RoleHelix platform, including our website, applications, and all related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by RoleHelix Labs ("RoleHelix," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

RoleHelix is a career assessment and development platform designed for graduates and early-career professionals. The Service provides personality and career assessments (CareerDNA), personalized role recommendations, guided learning tasks, portfolio-building tools, and curated career development content organized into structured 12-week programs.

2. Account Registration

  • Age requirement: You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account and use the Service.
  • Accurate information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.
  • Account security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must use a secure password and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
  • One account per person: Each individual may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to abuse free features or circumvent restrictions is prohibited.

3. Subscription and Payments

RoleHelix offers the following plans:

  • One-time payment: $79 for lifetime access to all platform features, guides, tasks, and future content updates.
  • Monthly subscription: $29/month for full access to all platform features, billed monthly until cancelled.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By providing your payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees. Prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.

Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day refund guarantee from the date of purchase. If you are not satisfied with the Service within the first 7 days, you may request a full refund by contacting us at support@rolehelix.com. After the 7-day period, all payments are non-refundable.

Cancellation

Monthly subscribers may cancel their subscription at any time through their account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access until then.

4. User Content

Ownership: You retain full ownership of all content you create on the platform, including portfolio artifacts, project write-ups, case studies, and task submissions ("User Content").

License grant: By submitting User Content to the Service, you grant RoleHelix a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service (e.g., displaying your public portfolio). This license terminates when you delete your content or account.

Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent that you have the right to share any content you upload and that it does not violate any third-party rights.

5. Platform Content

All guides, learning materials, assessment frameworks, tasks, templates, and other educational content provided by RoleHelix ("Platform Content") is owned by or licensed to RoleHelix Labs and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You are granted a personal, non-transferable license to access and use Platform Content for your own career development purposes. You may not:

  • Redistribute, resell, or share Platform Content with non-subscribers.
  • Copy or reproduce Platform Content for commercial purposes.
  • Create derivative works based on Platform Content for distribution.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape or crawl: Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to extract data or content from the Service.
  • Share paid content: Distribute, share, or make available any paid Platform Content to individuals who do not have an active subscription.
  • Harass others: Engage in harassment, abuse, threats, or intimidation of other users or RoleHelix staff.
  • Impersonate: Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organization.
  • Interfere with the Service: Attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise the security or integrity of the platform.
  • Violate laws: Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, national, or international law.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RoleHelix Labs and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

The Service provides career guidance and educational tools but does not guarantee employment outcomes. Career recommendations are based on assessment algorithms and should be considered as guidance, not professional career counseling.

Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

By us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or if we reasonably believe your use of the Service poses a risk to other users or the platform. We will provide notice of termination when practicable.

By you: You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Note that account deletion is irreversible.

Sections regarding intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination of these Terms.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date, and where appropriate, by sending an email notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which RoleHelix Labs is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
